Mediator / Arbitrator
Mr. Wolle, Executive Director of the Gilbert Mediation Center,
joined the Center in September 2007. Prior to joining the
Center, Mr. Wolle served as Executive Director of the Mediation
Center in affiliation with Hamline University School of Law
and Graduate School. He was a mediator/arbitrator for the
Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry in the area of
workers’ compensation for 13 years. While at the Department,
he created the Rice County Dispute Resolution Program, community/court
mediation program, and serves as its part-time Executive
Director.
Mr. Wolle has an interest in cross cultural conflict resolution
and has presented on this topic at various conferences and
trainings. In addition, he has worked closely with El Centro
de Mediación del Órgano Judicial (Supreme Court’s
Mediation Center) and the Alianza Ciudadana in Panamá providing
technical assistance in the development of mediation in Panamá.
He is a volunteer mediator with the Minnesota Department
of Human Rights.
Mr. Wolle has presented at numerous workshops and conferences
nationally as well as internationally as a panel member on
various issues regarding conflict management. He is
also a trainer in mediation skills.
Mr. Wolle has served as a Committee Administrator for the
Minnesota House of Representatives, as well as a lobbyist
in Minnesota, California, Oregon, Washington D.C. and Vermont
and as an administrator at Carleton College.
