Susan M. Elfstrom is an accomplished and versatile attorney with over twenty five years of experience in the practice of law. Ms. Elfstrom has an extensive background in personal injury litigation including wrongful death, medical negligence, automobile accidents and insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Elfstrom has achieved a proven record of outstanding performance in litigation along with a high success rate in client recovery and satisfaction. Ms. Elfstrom, a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 1979. She began her career as an Assistant Ramsey County Attorney from 1979 to 1983 and gained considerable jury trial experience. From 1983 to 1985 she was an Attorney/Partner at Schlesinger, Schmitz & Elfstrom. In 1985 she was Assistant Public Defender for Ramsey County. From 1985 until Ms. Elfstrom joined the Gilbert Mediation Center she was in private practice in a firm she founded, first as civil litigator until 2002 followed by a private practice dedicated to arbitration and mediation matters.
